Alectryon excelsus subsp. grandis - Three Kings tītoki

Alectryon excelsus subsp.grandis is a many-branched tree distinguished from the mainland tītoki by its more numerous trunks, smaller size and longer and broader leaflets.
Endemic
to the Three Kings Islands.

Leaf arrangement: alternate

Sexuality: unisexual on different plants; bisexual

Leaf attachment:

Stamens: 6-8, red

Leaf margin: smooth

Ovary: above petals

Leaf surface: hairs sparse

Fruit: dry
