Gaultheria antipoda is a shrub with small, bright green and leathery leaves with blunt marginal teeth. A genus with over 150 species found in both Northern and Southern Hemispheres with 11 species endemic to New Zealand.
An endemic species found in subalpine areas throughout New Zealand.
