Dracophyllum recurvum is a small creeping and many-branched shrub. The narrow recurved leaves are in tufts at branch tips and vary from green to red to brownish-yellow. Flower arrangement are in short dense groups at the tips of branches.
An endemic species found in mountain grassland in the North Island Volcanic Plateau and adjacent mountains.
