Myosotidium hortensium is a herbaceous plant which may be a metre across, bearing several foot-wide glossy dark green leaves. Large bright blue flower-heads are formed in the spring. The Flowers resemble those of the much smaller forget-me-nots which are species of the genus Myosotis.
An endemic genus with one species. Native to the Chatham Islands.
