Cordyline indivisa has a stout usually unbranched stem. The very broad and rubbery, sword-shaped leaves with red and yellow veins on the underside are distinctive to this species.
An endemic species of higher elevations on the North Island extending down to lowland forest in southern areas of the South Island.
