Cordyline banksii - tī ngahere, forest cabbage tree

family: Asparagaceae

Cordyline banksii  may have a single stem or may branch close to the ground to form a dense clump. The long and drooping leaves are a distinctive feature of this species.
An endemic species found in light forest from the North Island to the northern portion of the South Island.
