Sematophyllum subhumile var contiguum plants are a yellowish green, consisting of irregularly branching, creeping stems that form dense mats. Leaves are linear to lanceolate with tapering points (acuminate) and all tending to point up away from the substrate. Formerly Sematophyllum contiguum.
Widespread in New Zealand on rotten wood, tree trunks, soil and rock.
