Campylopus pallidus is a terrestrial moss with erect, narrow-lanceolate leaves terminating in very long fine green apices. Formerly Campylopus pyriformis.
Found throughout New Zealand, common on old stumps, decaying vegetation and on heated ground in thermal regions.
