Leptodictyum riparium is a delicate moss with creeping stems bearing 2-4 mm long, well-spaced leaves. The leaves taper to a long, fine flat point and the nerve (vein) is variable in length. Formerly Amblystegium riparium.
Found throughout New Zealand in water or on damp banks.
