Chiloscyphus novae-zeelandiae var meridionalis. Stems of this species are often erect, leaf insertion is strongly recurved and leaf tips are broadly rounded. Underleaves are concave up to 3-lobed and with a shallow sinus. Formerly Lophocolea meridionalis.
Found throughout New Zealand, almost exclusively associated with waterways in forest on rock and wood
